Welcome
Around the Block Writers Collaborative works with writers from all areas of the country. Founded by three women who are published authors, professional teachers, and longtime friends, Liz Abrams-Morley, Tracy Robert, and Sara Kay Rupnik are here to help you begin to write or to keep you writing. In addition to our Fall and Spring semesters via email, we hold Summer and Winter workshops in Western New York and Coastal Georgia.

If you are facing the following writing challenges, Around the Block can help:
- You want to preserve in writing the stories your grandfather told, but definitely could use some direction and encouragement…
- You keep threatening to write a memoir and have lots of ideas, but little experience with the genre and no desire to wade through a class that isn’t tailored to your needs…
- Over the years, you’ve written a stack of promising poems, but need an audience other than your family…
- You’re a capable writer, but freeze up when you attempt acollege application essay meant to distinguish you from thousands of other hopefuls…
- An ardent reader, you yearn to write some stories of your own.
- You want to leave an ethical will and are looking for resources to get you started.
Where to begin???
If it’s important enough to put into words, we will take you Around the Block!
